Christopher J. McKinney

Christopher J. McKinney handles personal injury cases in Austin, San Antonio and throughout South Texas from the firm's offices in San Antonio, Texas. His practice is dedicated to civil litigation matters, with a concentration in handling serious personal injury cases. As a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas and former attorney with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P., Mr. McKinney has an extensive litigation background and has tried cases to verdict in every major city in Texas. Mr. McKinney's experience includes representing clients in cases regarding serious personal injury claims, wrongful death cases, car accident claims, truck & big rig accident claims and bus accident claims. Mr. McKinney also handles cases involving claims of wrongful discharge, workers' compensation retaliation, defamation, and age, race and disability discrimination in both state and federal courts.

Mr. McKinney was a National Merit Scholar and received his B.A. summa cum laude from Abilene Christian University. He received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law, where he served as vice-dean of the Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity and was named to the Order of the Barristers.

Mr. McKinney has published numerous articles and is a frequent seminar speaker on legal issues and trial practice matters. Additionally, he is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas. He is a member of the Litigation and Employment Law Sections of the State Bar College, the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.

Shane Webster

Shane Webster is of counsel to the firm. He is a certified public accountant as well as an attorney. In addition to his J.D. he holds a masters of taxation from Baylor University.

Formerly a member of a "Big 5″ accounting firm, Mr. Webster is a member of the State Bar of Texas and has an active transactional practice. He also represents clients in tax-related matters and other disputes with administrative agencies, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission.
